Hello Clarington Swim Club member!
Many of you pointed out that the original MOC survey did not have the “Clarington Swim Club” listed as an option for aquatic programs available in the newly renovated Clarington Fitness Centre. We need to make sure that MOC knows we want good pool time and lots of it in the facility when it re-opens. The crowding we are experiencing know must be only temporary or the Club will suffer. The Clarington Fitness Centre, with its wider lanes and increased depth is by far the best of the local facilities for our needs.
I took the liberty of updating the Municipality’s survey regarding how the renovated pool would be used and have listed “ROC, Clarington Swim Club” in big bold letters on page three where it was missing before.
Hard copies of this updated survey will be available from the coaches, and in the lobby of the Courtice pool the last week of January and first week of February. As well I’ve attached it here for you to print and fill out. Please hand back in to the coaches so we can hand a great big stack of these completed surveys to the Municipality. Let’s make our voices heard!
